ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WSAU) -- Thursday night’s fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Rothschild may have been caused in part by speed and alcohol use. Investigators have not said if the cyclist or the pickup driver is at fault.
21-year-old Seth E. W. Stadler of Kronenwetter was killed in the crash. He was riding the motorcycle northbound on Business Highway 51 when he came in contact with the pickup leaving the I-39 off ramp driven by a 16-year-old female. The pickup driver’s name has not been released, but Rothschild police say she was not injured.
