Man arrested after crash injures all six occupants Friday

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (WSAU) -- Six people were injured in a Friday evening crash near Eagle River. The one-car accident happened at the intersection of Pokegama Lake Trail and Cemetery Road just before 8:00 p.m.

44-year-old driver Richard G. Allen from Lac du Flambeau was arrested for suspicion of causing injury while driving drunk.

A 31-year-old woman, a 13-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old girl were transported by Spirit Helicopter to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield for treatment. The names have not been released, and their present medical condition has not been made public.

The other occupants injuries were not as severe.
