CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI (WSAU) - Slippery road conditions lead to an ambulance crash early Tuesday in Chippewa County. Investigators say the Cornell Ambulance had a patient on board who was on the way to the hospital with chest pains. The ambulance slid down a hill near Baribeau Road and Johnson Road, and ended up hitting several trees.

Three people were injured. The patient, the driver, and the emergency medical technician all had non-life threatening injuries.
