STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) -  Investigators have released the name of the man who died in a crash Friday on I-39 at Stevens Point. He was 31-year-old Rick A. Walters from rural Stevens Point.

Walters was a passenger in a southbound vehicle Friday driven by 23-year-old Emalee Nuessmeier. The car slid sideways into the end of the guardrail at the Plover River Bridge at 12:43 p.m. Roads were snow covered and slippery at the time of the crash.
