HAMBERG, Wis (WSAU) A pick-up truck crashed into a logging truck in Hamburg in western Marathon County around 4am Thursday morning. Sheriffs deputies say it happened at the intersection of Highway F and Highway S.

The pick-up truck driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by emergency crews. She was airlifted from the scene and is being treated at Wausau Aspirus Hospital. The logging truck driver was not hurt.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
