MILWAUKEE< WI (WSAU) Four Milwaukee Brewers remain eligible for salary arbitration – and unless they agree to new contracts, they’ll be exchange salary proposals with the team on Friday.

The four players are outfielder Carlos Gomez, starter Marco Estrada, closer John Axford, and newly-acquired reliever Burke Badenhop.

Most players reach new contract agreements before their arbitration hearings begin in February. Any unresolved matters will go to a three-person arbitration panel – and they’ll choose either the team’s offer or the player’s request.
