STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) U-W Stevens Point has moved up three places to seventh in the new Division-Three men’s college basketball poll from D-Three-Hoops-Dot-Com. The Pointers are 14-and-2 overall with a 7-and-0 conference record and a four-game winning streak.
U-W Whitewater dropped four spots in the new poll to Number-15. The Warhawks are 12-and-3 overall, after being upset at U-W Superior 69-to-66 last Saturday. La Crosse also received votes along with Saint Norbert, Carroll, and Stout.
Saint Thomas of Saint Paul is the new men’s Number-One, after North Central suffered its first loss and fell to fifth. In the D-Three women’s poll, Stevens Point rose one place to 15th, with a 13-and-3 overall record and an eight-game winning streak.
Whitewater dropped nine spots to 24th, after losing by eight points at Superior last Saturday. Superior received votes in the new poll, as did Carthage.
De Pauw remains the women’s Number-One.
