The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum can thank Taylor Swift for helping the institution set a new attendance record in 2012.  An exhibit featuring items from Taylor Swift's Speak Now tour helped attract nearly 585,000 people to the Nashville landmark in 2012.

According to The Tennessean , that attendance number is up 15 percent over 2011.  The Taylor exhibit attracted a lot of young people and families, and the museum is looking for more exhibitions to continue attracting those demographics.

Exhibits focusing on Patsy Cline and the Buck Owens and Merle Haggard -driven Bakersfield Sound also helped attract visitors.
