RHINELANDER, WI (WXPR) - A trial date has been set for a former employee of a town of Woodruff business accused of embezzling a half-million dollars.
45-year-old Lisa Saykally is charged with 14 counts of theft from a business setting. She was employed by Aqualand Manufacturing and was employed in the bookkeeping department. She left the company in 2011 and now lives in North Dakota. A complaint was filed last August, saying she had no authorization to allegedly deposit money into her personal account.
According to court records, Saykally is a family member of the company owners.
A pre-trial conference will be held in late February with a trial date set for April 15 in Oneida County Circuit Court.
