NEW LONDON, WI (WSAU) -  The Antigo woman involved in Tuesday’s head-on crash near New London has died. 45-year-old Carrie M. Oreskovic was flown from the scene to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.

Oreskovic was northbound on Highway 45 just before 3:30 p.m. when her Jeep collided with a semi truck. Benjamin Gierach from Ogdensburg was operating the truck, and was not seriously injured.

State Patrol investigators say the accident is still under investigation, but they confirm there was no alcohol involved and both drivers were wearing seat belts. Troopers have assigned a crash reconstruction team to help determine the cause of the crash.
