STEVENS POINT, Wisc (WSAU)  The President of the Stevens Point Area School Board has decided not to run for reelection. Yesterday was the deadline for candidates to turn in their paperwork for the spring elections. Dwight Stevens did not.

Two other current board members are seeking new terms. They are Lisa Totten and Kim Shirek. There are five others who submitted paperwork, giving voters seven candidates to choose from for four available seats.

The spring elections are April 2nd.
