Kellie Pickler has been on three USO tours of Afghanistan in the past few years, so she's seen firsthand how hard it is for female troops to feel like ladies while living in the desert.  That's why she teamed up with the USO to be a part of a special "Ladies Night" for those women serving overseas.

Kellie pulled together some of her favorite "girlie" items -- including nail polish, slippers, manicure kits and chick flicks -- to send over to the event at several different USO Centers in the regions.  She also connected with the women via Skype as they received the packages.

Kellie says, "I have a special place in my heart for servicewomen.  They are some brave, beautiful and dedicated women."

She adds, "While our servicewomen are spending this time away from their family and loved ones I wanted them to be able to take a moment and pamper themselves.”

Kellie has been on six USO tours since 2007 visiting more than 30,000 troops in eight countries.
