MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) - If you’ve got an extra minute while at your computer, you might want to cast a vote for an area school project.
The Mosinee Middle School Library would appreciate your online vote as they try to win money to upgrade the facility. They are one of 10 schools in a national online voting contest eligible for a $5,000 award.
The Wurdeman’s school library was built in the 1930s. If Mosinee wins, the library will spend the money updating wiring, sound tiles, shelving and carpeting to improve the site. They will also create a handicapped accessible instructional space with interactive technologies.
The Great American Classroom Makeover contest ends Feb. 22. First prize is $5,000; second is $2,500 and third place winners will receive $1,000.
