WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) About 550 homes on Wausau's west side lost electricity last night.
Wisconsin Public Service says the cause was an equipment failure. It's not clear if weather was a contributing factor with all the ice and snow.
The problem happened around 10pm. Electricity was restored for most WPS customers about an hour later.
