BELL, Wis (WSAU) There's been a fatal snowmobile crash in northern Wisconsin near Superior. It happened around 3pm Friday afternoon, when an Iowa man crashed into a tree in Bayfield County near Superior.

The man was killed on impact. The DNR says speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
