ANTIGO, Wis. (WSAU) -- Antigo officials are releasing more information about a fatal fire that claimed the life of an elderly woman on Thursday.
She's being identified as 85-year-old Thelma Bula. Police say Bula was found unconscious inside the home after neighbors called 911 to report a fire in the house. She was rescued from the house, but could not be revived and was later pronounced dead at Langlade Hospital.
It took crews over four hours to bring the fire under control, and they had to deal with numerous hot spots inside the house.
Investigators say that they could not find an exact cause for the fire, but are not suspecting anything suspicious.
