WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- A early morning drug raid led to two arrests in Wisconsin Rapids Friday. Police say the officers serving the warrant seized about $1,000 worth of heroin from a residence in the 100 block of 15th Avenue South at about 7:00 a.m.
The suspects are facing possessing heroin with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana charges. A 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are in jail.
Four children between three and nine years old were at the home at the time of the arrests. They are being cared for by Wood County Human Services.
Names will likely be released Monday after the District Attorney files official charges.
