MOSINEE, Wis (WSAU) A missing teenager from Mosinee returned home on her own after disappearing for about two weeks. Jessica Kolz's family reported her missing on August 10th. She came back to her family on Saturday afternoon.
Local police hesitated to call this a missing persons case since there was no indication that she was in danger. Kolz called her family from outside a store in Stevens Point on the day she was last seen, and said she would be alright. But she didn't provide any details about where she would be. Her mother said it would be unlike her daughter to run away.
Police are not providing any more information on the case, except to say that the family has been reunited.
