ANTIGO, Wis. (WSAU) - Antigo’s school district has a new administrator... again. Dr. Don Childs has agreed to serve as the Interim District Administrator until the end of June 2014.
The top administrator’s office has been occupied by a new person every year for the past three years. That trend will continue unless Childs agrees to stay on longer than his current one-year agreement.
Dr. Childs was the Interim Superintendent for the Clinton district last year, and has been an interim superintendent for other schools including Howard-Suamico, Beaver Dam, and Waupun. He replaces Dr. Steve Smolek, who resigned in June.
Childs begins his duties Monday.
