MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Are you two-wheeling your way to work this week?
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reminding commuters this is bike to work week.
The state says riding a bike is a fun way to exercise and it can also help conserve gasoline and save the environment.
If you pair up with another bicycle rider you can feel much safer while you’re on the road.
Commuters can register through the Rideshare program and finding a riding buddy by entering where they will start, where they’re going, what times they work and then contact other riders through e-mail.
All applicants get a free reflective arm band to wear.
