WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) - Wisconsin Rapids police have released more information about a fatal bicycle-car collision.
A 41-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man is dead after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a motorist around 12:30pm on Saturday. That accident occurred on 8th Street near Pepper Avenue.
The 75-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured in the crash and has not been cited at this time. The state Patrol is still reconstructing the scene. The accident remains under investigation, but alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors at this time.
