Carrie Underwood is a two-time Entertainer of the Year winner at the ACM Awards, and her 2005 debut release, Some Hearts , was named Album of the Year at the 2006 ACM Awards. She's nominated for that trophy again this year with her latest album, Blown Away , and Carrie says that nod means the world to her.
"It's kind of the culmination of everything that -- all the writing, all the recording, even touring, I feel like," Carrie explains. "'Cause people get excited about it and people wanna go see it. It kind of all goes into album. If there's not buzz around it. Yeah, it's everything."
She adds, "I'm going to be really nervous when that category comes up for sure."
Carrie is set to perform on the 48th Annual ACM Awards Sunday night on CBS. She's also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, a category she's taken twice. The show gets started at 8 p.m. Eastern.
