NEW MUNSTER, WI (WTAQ) - Two rivers in Wisconsin have flood warnings Monday afternoon – but only minor floods are expected in parts of Kenosha and Trempealeau counties.

The National Weather Service says a combination of melting snow and recent rains are blamed for flood warnings on the Fox River at New Munster, and the Trempealeau River at Dodge.

The Fox was expected to go above its 10-foot flood stage Monday afternoon, before returning within its banks Tuesday.

The Trempealeau River was also expected to spill above its banks Monday afternoon, dropping back below its flood stage on Wednesday.
