UNDATED (WSAU-Metro)  The NFL is reportedly using referees who were previously fired by the Lingerie Football League for incompetence. The statement could not be independently confirmed. The NFL has had no comment.

The LFL says in a statement issued to "Deadspin" that a couple of crews who were released for their on-field incompetence are now officiating in the NFL. The LFL also says the league is releasing the information because it's only fair that NFL fans know who is really officiating the games.

The statement came shortly after the bizarre ending of Monday night's game between the Packers and Seahawks in Seattle. The fiasco is the latest in the ongoing saga of replacement officials, who've been under heavy criticism for the past two weeks prior to Monday's result.

The regular officials have been locked out by the NFL.
