Carson Daly sure is going to have a lot to talk about on his NBC late night show Last Call with Carson Daly. The 39-year-old former MTV TRL host welcomed his second child, a baby girl named Etta, with his girlfriend Siri Pinter on Thursday (ironically, the same night that the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards aired).

""Tonight at 5:15pm we welcomed the latest addition to our family,"" Daly posted on his Facebook. ""Etta Jones Daly weighs 8lbs and is beautiful! Mom was a rockstar, Jackson James is a proud big bro, and dad's drinking a cold one. Praise God.""

Sounds like Daly is up for a whole new adventure. While he has had some practice being a father to his son Jackson, to whom Pinter gave birth to in March 2009, raising a little girl is completely different. But it seems like Daly is ready for the happy challenge. He and Pinter announced the pregnancy back in May.

Congrats to the family on their new addition.
