Kenny Chesney will perform at halftime at the Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 to kick off the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign, and you could be there. Kenny is calling on his fans to put together and submit short video highlights of pre-collegiate football games for his Boys of Fall sweepstakes.
The grand prize winner will win a trip for four to the game, a meet and greet with Kenny and on-field passes for his halftime performance. Selected videos may be used in Kenny's Thanksgiving Day performance as well. To submit a video, go to SalvationArmyUSA.org/BoysofFall.
Kenny joins a long line of stars who have helped launch the Red Kettle campaign with a halftime performance in the past including Carrie Underwood , Toby Keith , Keith Urban , Reba and more. He says, "There are great traditions in America -- especially Thanksgiving, family and football. For 16 years the Dallas Cowboys and The Salvation Army have been an American tradition and I'm happy to be a part of it."
So far, the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign has raised $1.5 billion.
