DULUTH, Minn. (WSAU) - Trailing by two goals entering the third and final period, Mark Zengerle and Michael Mersch scored to give the Wisconsin men’s hockey team a 2-2 tie on the road against Minnesota-Duluth.
Mersch scored the game-tying goal at 14:47 on the third period. The Bulldogs outshot Wisconsin 37-21 as they tried to get a split of the weekend series. Joel Rumpel made 35 saves for the Badgers who now have a record of 1-2-1.
