Jost pleads not-guilty

STEVENS POINT, WI  -  One of the three family members accused of fraudulently cashing their mother’s Social Security checks was back in court Thursday. Charles T. Jost entered a not-guilty plea to the charges. He was found competent to stand trial October 15th. Judge Thomas Flugar agreed there was enough evidence to try Jost.

Charles Jost will next have a pre-trial conference December 10th. The other two defendants will also have pre-trial conferences the same day. Dolores and Ronald Disher will remain jailed with Jost, unable to make bond. Dolores and Charle’s mother Marie Jost would be 101 years old if alive. Nobody has seen her since about 1980, but her government checks always get cashed.

Investigators are still looking for information about Marie Jost and her missing son Theodore Jost.
