MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) - Earlier this week, billboard signs in the Milwaukee area saying “Voter Fraud is a Felony” were taken down under pressure. Now, the pressure is coming from the billboard’s supporters. The signs were erected by Clear Channel Outdoor advertising, which did not disclose the name of their paying client. Yesterday, the Tea Party Patriots organization based in Washington D.C. is criticising what they call political bullying and intimidation to stop people from their rights to free speech. Opponents of the billboards called them controversial. Tea Party Patriots National Coordinator Jenny Beth Martin challenged the groups that wanted the signs down, asking “When did following the law become controversial?” There is no word if the signs will stay down or go back up.
