Taylor Swift 's new album, Red , is off to a huge start topping the iTunes Albums chart just 36 minutes after it went on sale Monday. The set sold 262,000 albums at iTunes in the first day alone, and Red hit #1 on iTunes in 32 locations including the U.K., Australia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Denmark and Singapore.
Songs from Red took up 13 spots in the top 20 of the iTunes Songs chart with Taylor's duet with Ed Sheeran from the album, "Everything Has Changed," taking the top position.
The deluxe edition of Red is available only at Target, and it's set the record for first day album sales in the stores history. Taylor's last album, Speak Now , holds the record for highest one-week sales at Target, but Red is on track to beat it.
