MADISON, WI (WSAU) - Wisconsin remains a top destination for political campaigns. U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida will campaign for Mitt Romney Thursday in Waukesha. He will join Senator Ron Johnson and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch at this event. It starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Waukesha Republican Victory Center, 1701 Pearl St., Suite No. 2. People should pre-register for the event at www.mittromney.com/states/Wisconsin.
The other side of the ticket is spending time in Wisconsin, too. Vice President Joseph Biden will attend a rally at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh at 8:30 a.m. and then at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are free and available in regional offices for President Barack Obama's campaign.
