WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis (WSAU) Wisconsin Rapids police are investigating an assault and robbery from last Friday. A 22-year-old man had given a ring to a man from Green Bay for some money. Early Friday morning he wanted to repay the money and get his ring back. The exchange was going to be made in a Kwik Trip parking lot on Highway 54.

The victim was hit over the head around 3am, and had his money taken. His two attackers took off in a white Chevy with tinted windows. The man says one of his attackers might have had a handgun.
