UNDATED (WSAU) Charges have been dropped in a shooting case from three years ago.
33-year-old Luther Pawlowski of Hatley was accused of shooting Nick Wyne in the chest in May of 2009. Wyne survived, and told police in the hospital that his friend shot him.
Pawlowski had been charged with negligent use of a weapon, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and manufacturing marijuana.
Prosecutors asked that the charges be dropped earlier this week, saying they didn't have enough evidence in the case to get a conviction. Judge Greg Grau dismissed the charges on Tuesday.
