WAUSAU, WI (WSAU)  -  Federal Aviation Administration officials continue to investigate a small plane crash that happened Wednesday morning at Wausau Airport.

62-year-old Randall Pack clipped a tree as he was approaching the runway to land at about 8:30 a.m. He was found outside the six-seater craft by first responders right after the crash.

Weather may have been a factor, since fog limited visibility at the time.
