WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - The President of Aspirus Wausau Hospital has announced her resignation. Diane Postler-Slattery is moving to Midland, Michigan to become President and CEO of Mid-Michigan Health.
Postler-Slattery began serving Wausau Hospital nearly 25 years ago as a staff nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. She has seen growth and many changes in patient care. "Level two trauma, women's health, a neonatal intensive care unit, and being a magnet facility. When I think of all the things that have happened in the time frame that I've been here, we've grown from a nice small community hospital to a regional tertiary care facility. That's amazing."
In her new duties, Postler-Slattery will have considerably more responsibility overseeing several facilities. MidMichigan Health is a non-profit health system, headquartered in Midland, Michigan. They have over 65-hundred employees in a 14-county region with hospitals in Midland, Alma, Clare and Gladwin, Michigan. They also operate cancer centers, urgent care centers, home care, nursing homes, medical offices and other specialty health services.
Diane says she will be visiting frequently since her family is in the Wausau area. Her last day at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is November 21st.
