Reba 's new sitcom Malibu Country premieres on ABC November 2, marking her return to television after her first show, Reba , went off the air in 2007.

Reba tells Los Angeles ABC affiliate KABC , "I didn't want to leave Reba . We got canceled in 2006 and I've been looking for a sitcom ever since."

With Malibu Country , Reba is once again offering her fans a show fit for all ages.  "You can watch with your family, have a great time, not be embarrassed by anything, giggle and laugh with all of us," she says.

In Malibu Country, Reba plays a woman who leaves her cheating husband in Nashville and moves her family to Malibu. That storyline opens the show to some serious moments amidst the laughter.

Reba explains, "It's got heart, it's got emotion. Then the next scene you're cracking up laughing. It's a roller-coaster of emotions and I think that's what you have to have in a good sitcom."

Malibu Country also features Lily Tomlin , Jai Rodriguez and Sara Rue .
