by

CRIVITZ, WI (WSAU) -  A Wausaukee man was arrested after causing a head-on crash that killed a Michigan teenager. Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve says a mother and three children were traveling south on U.S. Highway 141 in the Town of Middle Inlet when a pickup driven by a 28-year-old man pulled into their path. Police have not yet released his name. The other vehicle was driven by 44-year-old Jodi Betts Crowley of Ishpeming, Michigan. Crowley and her 16 and 17-year-old daughters are hospitalized in Green Bay with serious injuries. Crowley’s 13-year-old son Christopher didn’t survive the crash.

The pickup truck driver was not seriously hurt. His name has been withheld until charges are filed. Investigators have not commented on any possible contributing factors to the crash.
