ST. FRANCIS, WI (WSAU) It’s Day-Three of the Milwaukee Bucks’ training camp – and coach Scott Skiles is testing out candidates to start at the small forward spot. Carlos Delfino mainly filled that role the past couple years, but he’s no longer with the team. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute has also started at small forward – but he’s recovering from knee surgery, and he won’t be ready to play until sometime after the regular season begins.

For now, Skiles is considering a rotation that includes second-year pro Tobias Harris, veteran Mike Dunleavy, and 31-year-old Marquis Daniels – who signed with the Bucks last month after playing three seasons in Boston.

Dunleavy is a solid shooter, and Skiles says he’d like to use him off the bench. Harris said his main goal at training camp is to win a starting job. He also wanted to make a good impression a year ago, in his first training camp as a rookie – but Harris missed almost the entire camp with a blood disorder. And he was hospitalized for a short time after he got dehydrated.

Skiles said Harris did a lot of work this summer. Harris says he must keep improving on defense, and get better with his jump shot.
