More than 100,000 fans showed up for Luke Bryan 's Farm Tour earlier this year, and now the Athens, GA show from that trek is featured in a new GAC special airing Wednesday night at 10 ET. This is Luke's first televised concert special ever. It captures a large scale version of the down-home shows he used to perform while growing up in Georgia.
"We’d put some speakers in a tractor shed, call a few folks, light a big bonfire, collect money at the cattle gate and that was our gig,” Luke says. "This is the same thing; it’s just a lot bigger."
14,000 fans were on hand for this particular show featuring his hits "I Don't Want This Night to End," "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye," "Rain Is a Good Thing" and "Drunk on You" among others.
Luke kicks off his first headlining trek, the Dirt Road Diaries tour, on January 17.
