TOWN OF CORNING, Wis. (WSAU) - Officials say a cabin is a total loss after a fire in the Town of Corning this weekend.

Fire fighters were called to Joe Snow Road in Corning around 1:30 pm on Saturday to a report of a fire. When they arrived the building was totally engulfed in flames.

No one was inside at the time. The property owners say they started a fire in a wood stove inside earlier in the day. Initial reports say that was the likely cause of the fire. No criminal charges are expected.
