WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) - The man charged with murdering his girlfriend in Weston will go to trial. 21-year-old Richi Vue is accused of shooting Lee Xiong in her bedroom October 13th. The shooting happened after an alleged argument over a drug deal earlier in the day. Vue now says the gun fired by accident.

The homicide occurred at Xiong’s Aspen Apartment’s home, where she lived with her siblings and mother.

Vue remains jailed, unable to post a one million dollar cash bond. He will be back in court to enter a plea January 3rd.
