STRATFORD, Wis. (WSAU) - It's all clear at Stratford High School after a bomb threat Tuesday afternoon.

Stratford Fire Chief Bill Grisebach says a note was left in a school bathroom that the school would be blown up at 2 pm. He says, "We evacuated the school and we didn't find nothing." Griesbach says they have had several teachers helping the bomb squad go room by room to make sure there's nothing out of place that shouldn't be there.

Police chief Kory Schillinger says the school district took appropriate actions during the situation. "They evacuated all the kids to local schools, the busses came in to move them it all went very smooth."

Chief Schillinger says several agencies worked together, including Stratford Fire Department and the Marathon-Langlade County Bomb Squad, which used a robot for the initial search. No device was found.
