RIB MOUNTAIN,Wis(WSAU)  Granite Peakhoped to be open for skiing by Thanksgiving weekend. That's been pushed back to at least December 1st. It's been too warm to make snow.

Temperatures must be below 28-degrees for snowmaking. We've had lows in the 30s for the last several nights. It may not be cold enough to turn the snow-guns on again until Thursday night into Friday. There's also a chance of flurries on Thanksgiving Day that may help with the ground-cover.
