Miranda Lambert is turning Black Friday into Pink Friday in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
She plans to paint her adopted hometown shades of fuchsia the day after Thanksgiving, for the grand opening of her new store, the Pink Pistol.
Miranda says Tishomingo is the “epitome of a great, small American town” and she’s excited to dress it in her favorite color. In fact, she plans to make it an annual event.
“We’re going to make it a tradition to turn the block pink every year at that time,” she vows. “Pink Friday will be country fun with some glitz.” A “pink-aoke” area and the “1st Annual Pink Pistol Princess Pageant” will round out the day.
The Pink Pistol will carry merchandise “for the wild at heart” personally selected by Miranda, ranging from handmade boots and belts to fashionable clothing and home goods.
