Bucks Hammer Indiana

MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks led by as many as 32 points last night before beating Indiana by 14 at home, 99-to-85. Point guard Brandon Jennings said the Bucks followed the advice of coach Scott Skiles – who told them the Pacers would shut down if the Bucks got to them early. And they did, jumping out to an early 27-to-9 lead.

The Bucks led by 26 at the half, and by 29 after three periods before all five Milwaukee starters sat out for the entire final quarter. The Bucks out-shot Indiana 42-to-37 percent. The Pacers had the edge on the boards 53-45, but Milwaukee only committed six turnovers to 20 for Indiana.

Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis each scored 16 for the Bucks, who’ve won two straight and improved to 2-and-2 at home. Bucks’ center Samuel Dalembert had 14 points, six rebounds, and three blocked shots in 18 minutes.

Tyler Hansbrough had 17 points for Indiana, which is now 0-and-5 on the road.

The Bucks improved to 5-and-2 overall, and will play New Orleans on Saturday night at the B-M-O Harris Bradley Center.
