RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU) - The Oneida County Health Department is hosting an open house Tuesday to celebrate their new location from 3:30-6:30 p.m. They are now located at 100 West Keenan Street (next to Trig’s in Rhinelander). Tours of the new facilities area available, and you can learn about the services and programs available. This event is free and open to the public.
The Oneida County Health Department (OCHD) has been serving the community for close to 100 years and continues to advance and grow. The OCHD staff offers a variety of programs and services. These services include: community wide coalition work such as AODA prevention, Tobacco prevention, Mental Health prevention, chronic disease prevention, and children's injury prevention, Car Passenger Safety Education, Breastfeeding Program, Family Planning, Postnatal Home Visiting, AIDS/HIV Testing, Immunization & Influenza Clinics, Lead Testing, Nutrition Education, Parenting Education, Prenatal Care Coordination, Smoking Cessation, Well Water Test Kits, Inspection program, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Food & Nutrition Program, and Women's Health Screening Program.
