OWEN, WI (WSAU) - Owen Police Chief Randall Poirier is gone. City officials aren’t saying why. The Common Council approved the chief’s resignation at a special meeting Thursday night, but Mayor Stephen Heggemeier and council members had no comment afterwards.
Poirier has been on leave for over two weeks. The chief’s departure leaves a sergeant and a patrol officer to handle police work until a new chief of police is named.
