WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) The Wisconsin Woodchucks announced today that Erik Supplee will return as field manager in 2013. Supplee managed the Chucks to a record of 43-27, including a second half record of 26-9.

The 43 victories was a franchise record. They also made the playoffs, winning the south title in the second half.

Supplee returns for his second season as head man. He was also a coach for one season . He currently is the pitching coach at Millersville University.

The Woodchucks and Midwest Communications have also extended their play-by-play broadcast partnership with Fox Sports 1390 WRIG into next season.
