We already knew Justin Bieber was a huge music sensation, but the young pop star is now taking his popularity to overwhelming heights, especially in the online arena. The singer's ""Boyfriend"" music video — which was released on May 3 — has already set a new record on YouTube, according to The Hollywood Reporter, logging over 8 million views within the first 24 hours of its release.

Of course, the teen heartthrob's team of Beliebers probably had a little something to do with it (it's called Bieber Fever for a reason, you know). And as we've already pointed out, Bieber has grown up quite a bit, so his female demographic should prove to be stronger than ever before.

As of Saturday, ""Boyfriend"" had logged 9.2 million hits. But just in case you were too busy pre-gaming for your Cinco de Mayo/Kentucky Derby weekend festivities and have yet to see the video in all its swagger-filled glory, check out the full version of the music clip below:
