WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) 22 year old Tyler Enkro was charged Friday in the shooting death of 31 year old Nick Hoffman. The death occured in the town of Grand Rapids on the night of Dec 18th, 2011 while the two were drinking..

Enkro is being charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a firearm. He called 911 the night of the shooting and said he had accidentally shot Hoffman.Charges were delayed while the Wood County DA's office awaited test results.

Enkro remains free on a $2500 bond. He is scheduled for a court appearance on July 23rd in Wood County Court.
